BASG is an independent educational project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved of by the International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®). BASG is also not an IIBA® Endorsed Education Provider™ (EEP™), and completing material here does not count toward IIBA® professional development hours unless you separately verify that with IIBA®.

BASG is inspired by the publicly known structure of the A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide), v3 published by IIBA®. We discuss the same publicly known concepts — knowledge areas, tasks, the Business Analysis Core Concept Model (BACCM™), and common techniques — because they are the vocabulary of the profession and any serious study aid has to address them.

However, all explanations, examples, scenarios, case studies, flashcards, interview material, and commentary on BASG are independently written original content. We do not reproduce text, diagrams, tables, question banks, or other protected expression from the BABOK® Guide or any other IIBA® publication. If you are preparing for a credential, the BABOK® Guide and other official IIBA® materials remain the authoritative sources — BASG is a companion, not a substitute.
